[KAO Wei-Cheng Heads to Japan! Joining the Tokyo Great Bears for Preseason Warm-Up Games in Okinawa]

The partnership between TAIPEI EAST POWER and the Tokyo Great Bears of Japan's SV.LEAGUE continues to deepen. At the invitation of the Tokyo Great Bears, TAIPEI EAST POWER outside hitter KAO Wei-Cheng will travel to Okinawa, Japan, this weekend to join the team for preseason warm-up games against Suntory Sunbirds Osaka on August 22 and 23.

KAO Wei-Cheng will join the Tokyo Great Bears in their preparations, training with the team and taking part in the games. For KAO, this will also be a valuable exchange opportunity to experience the competitive environment of Japan's SV.LEAGUE firsthand, fight alongside Tokyo Great Bears players, and take on Suntory Sunbirds Osaka on court.

Both preseason warm-up games will be held at the Tomigusuku City Gymnasium in Okinawa. The first game starts at 15:00 Japan time on August 22, and the second at 13:00 on August 23. KAO Wei-Cheng will take the court with the Tokyo Great Bears as a guest player.

The partnership between TAIPEI EAST POWER and the Tokyo Great Bears is now extending from Taiwan to Japan. Following the training camp the two teams recently co-hosted in Taiwan, KAO Wei-Cheng's participation in the preseason warm-up games in Okinawa takes their collaboration onto the court of competition. Both sides look forward to continuing exchanges in various forms and building more substantial and meaningful connections between professional volleyball in Taiwan and Japan.
