[Tokki Cutie Final Round Begins] Over 300 Applicants and the Top 35 Revealed! Who Will Stand Out and Join LEE So-Young and PARK Eun-Hye on the Pro Volleyball Cheer Stage?
"Tokki Cutie," the cheer team audition program launched by TAIPEI EAST POWER Professional Volleyball Club together with Lang Live, has generated non-stop buzz since it opened on July 4, drawing more than 300 applicants from Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong in just a few weeks. Both its popularity and the discussion around it exploded, making it the hottest audition in the volleyball world this summer!
The original plan was to advance 20 to 25 contestants, but because the applicants were so evenly matched and so diverse in style, the organizers ultimately decided to make an exception and expand the field, selecting 35 contestants to advance to the second stage. The full list is officially released today, and the notifications have been sent out at the same time! Fans can be the first to see this lineup of promising new stars, a preview of the cheer stage to come.
This year's qualifiers are a star-studded group with plenty of talking points. They include TAKAHASHI Kaho, a Japanese member of the Rakuten Monkeys cheer squad, who advanced with her sweet image and standout performance, and a trainee from the Wei Chuan Dragons' Dragon Beauties, who took on the challenge with strong ambition. A number of popular social media creators also joined the fray, including the YouTuber Diqi, a contestant from the audition show "Explode! Girls," and several Instagram KOLs with large followings, turning the selection into an all-star game of the cheer world with the competition in full blaze!
The second stage officially begins on July 22, with online popularity voting open at the same time until August 6. On the night of the finals on August 14, the event will be streamed exclusively on the Lang Live platform, and the final members will be decided by combining the voting results with the professional judges' scores, selecting the inaugural official members of Tokki Cutie.
Those selected will join the "Korean cheer goddesses" LEE So-Young and PARK Eun-Hye in the cheer section at TAIPEI EAST POWER's TPVL home games, becoming key figures in firing up the atmosphere and leading fans to fight for the city.
