"Doctor Mars" Lands in Taipei! TAIPEI EAST POWER Welcomes French Outside Hitter Titouan HALLÉ Ahead of Taiwan's Inaugural Pro Volleyball Season!

TAIPEI EAST POWER officially announced today (the 10th) that French outside hitter Titouan HALLÉ has joined the team. Standing 197 cm and weighing 90 kg, he brings a composed playing rhythm and rich competitive experience from Europe, injecting powerful strength from France's west coast into TAIPEI EAST POWER!
HALLÉ, 26, was born in Rennes, France, and plays as an outside hitter, with a spike reach of 355 cm and a block reach of 335 cm. He began his professional career at the Centre national de volley-ball in France, later played for Rennes Volley 35 and Rennes Étudiants Club, and in the 2023–2024 season joined Saint-Nazaire Volley-Ball Atlantique (SNVBA), where as a key starter he helped the club win its first French league title and reach the European Champions League. In the spring of 2024 he had a brief stint with the Cambodian club Visakha, his first experience in Asia, and he now settles in Taipei to join the ranks of TAIPEI EAST POWER.
During his time at SNVBA, HALLÉ showed outstanding consistency and composure under pressure, delivering impressive performances in the European Champions League against teams such as the Italian powerhouse Perugia, and keeping a steady rhythm in many crucial matches, making him one of the key drivers of the team's turnaround season.
Besides being a volleyball player, HALLÉ is also engaged in academic research in earth science. He graduated from the engineering school INSA Rennes with a master's degree in engineering and is currently pursuing a doctorate in earth science at the University of Rennes in France. His research focuses on erosion processes in Martian valleys and the role groundwater plays in them, with particular analysis of sediment transport and erosion dynamics in theater-headed valleys. His interdisciplinary background in geology, spatial topography, and planetary science keeps him highly disciplined and focused both on and off the court, making him one of the few players who balance academic work with athletic training.
TAIPEI EAST POWER said: "HALLÉ is not only an outside hitter with international experience, but also a player with clear thinking and a steady rhythm. His arrival will bring stability to the team and set a well-rounded example for our young players."
Looking ahead to his first time in an Asian league, HALLÉ said with anticipation: "Taipei is a city full of energy and culture. I am really looking forward to exploring the volleyball environment in Taiwan, and I hope the experience I gained in Europe can help the team improve. I believe TAIPEI EAST POWER is a stage where I can perform and grow, and I am ready for the challenge!"
