The TAIPEI EAST POWER × Tokyo Great Bears Volleyball Training Camp, co-hosted by TPVL's TAIPEI EAST POWER and the Tokyo Great Bears of Japan's SV.LEAGUE, came to a successful close on July 25 and 26. The two-day event drew enthusiastic participation from many volleyball fans, who experienced the appeal of professional volleyball firsthand through high-quality training sessions, exchanges with players, and close-up interaction, adding another memorable chapter to volleyball exchange between Taiwan and Japan.

The camp was led by Tokyo Great Bears stars YANAGIDA Masahiro and TOZAKI Takahiro together with TAIPEI EAST POWER players KAO Wei-Cheng, HONG Rong-Fa, and LIU Shao-Yu, who shared their techniques, concepts, and training experience as professionals with every participant without holding anything back. From fundamentals and team coordination to match skills, the two days of sessions were substantial and varied, leaving participants with a great deal to take away and fully demonstrating the spirit of Taiwanese and Japanese professionals working together to promote volleyball.

Alongside the professional training, the event included meet-and-greet, autograph, and photo sessions, giving participants the chance to interact with professional players up close and create many treasured memories. On the second day, TAIPEI EAST POWER player WEN Yi-Kai, who was in national team training at the time, made a surprise appearance and joined the session, practicing and interacting with the participants, which lifted the atmosphere even further and added a special surprise to the camp.

Since establishing their partnership, the Tokyo Great Bears and TAIPEI EAST POWER have continued to promote volleyball exchange between Taiwan and Japan, from player visits and brand collaborations to this jointly hosted training camp, hoping that a wider range of exchange formats will let fans, players, and grassroots participants in both places feel the passion and excitement that volleyball brings.

After the event, the Tokyo Great Bears said that the exchange had been full of smiles and energy, that spending two wonderful days with TAIPEI EAST POWER and Taiwanese fans had given them a strong sense of the passion for volleyball in Taiwan, and that they look forward to deepening the partnership and promoting the sport together.

TAIPEI EAST POWER expressed its thanks to the Tokyo Great Bears for their strong support of the event and to all the participants and fans who took part so enthusiastically. Over the two days of sessions, every player threw themselves into teaching and exchange, hoping that their own experience would help more people enjoy volleyball and fall in love with the game.

Going forward, TAIPEI EAST POWER will continue to deepen its partnership with the Tokyo Great Bears and advance more international exchange programs, connecting Taiwan with volleyball around the world and creating more opportunities to experience professional volleyball up close, so that more people come together through volleyball and grow together through exchange, bringing more energy and possibility to Asian volleyball.
